UNCLAIMED PROPERTY CLAIM ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT
This Unclaimed Property Claim Assistance Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into on May 9, 2026, by and between:

Service Provider (“Finder”): Caneo LLC
1. Purpose of Agreement
The Client authorizes Caneo to assist in locating, filing, and/or recovering unclaimed property held by state or governmental agencies on behalf of the Client.
2. Description of Property (if known)
State/Agency Holding Funds: [If known]
Approximate Amount: [If known]
Property Description: [Wages, bank accounts, insurance, etc.]
Additional property discovered during the engagement may be included only with the Client’s written consent.
3. Scope of Services
Caneo may:
Research and identify unclaimed property
Prepare and submit claim documentation
Communicate with state agencies on the Client’s behalf
Assist in verifying and supporting required paperwork
Final determination of eligibility and payment is made solely by the relevant state or agency.
4. Client Right to Claim Independently
The Client acknowledges that:
The Client may file and recover unclaimed property directly at no cost
The Client is not required to use a third-party service
State agencies provide free claim filing services
5. Compensation / Fee Agreement
If recovery is successful, the Client agrees to pay Caneo:
Fee: 25% of the gross amount recovered
Payment shall be made from recovered funds or upon receipt of funds by the Client, as permitted by law.
No fee is owed unless funds are successfully recovered.
6. Authorization
The Client authorizes Caneo to:
Act as the Client’s representative solely for filing and processing claims
Submit required documentation to relevant agencies
Communicate with state unclaimed property offices
This authorization is strictly limited to unclaimed property recovery activities.
7. Disclosure & Transparency
Caneo affirms that:
All fees have been clearly disclosed prior to execution of this Agreement
No guarantee of recovery is made
All recoveries are subject to verification by the holding agency
8. Termination
Either party may terminate this Agreement in writing at any time.
If termination occurs:
No further services will be performed
Fees may only apply if recovery results directly from work already performed, where permitted by law
9. Compliance With Law
This Agreement is intended to comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws governing:
Unclaimed property recovery
Consumer protection
Contract enforceability
If any provision is deemed unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in effect.
10. Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior discussions or agreements.
